Techs: On-Site & Remote Support
Ravenhurst can provide both on-site and remote (software specialist) technical support.
MAC work (Move, Adds & Changes) on existing systems, and very small cable jobs are usually done on a Time & Material (T&M) basis. When working on T&M, charges are as follows:
- $90.00/hr: Monday through Friday, 8:00AM – 5:00PM (Overtime, weekends, and holidays are billed at time & half)
- Visit Charge: $40.00 (Outside Charlotte metro, travel time applies.)
- Materials as needed: Cable, jacks, boxes & face-plates, CAT5e jumpers etc. **
For larger jobs, particularly cable, we can firm quote with adequate notice and good Scope of Work (SOW).
Remote support, in the form of software programming / consulting, is also available for phone systems we support, primarily Avaya. For this, we offer “prepaid” 2hr (and up) blocks of remote support time (an open ticket) at the Phone Support Rate , (or remote) of $70.00/ hr.
This allows you, or your staff, to easily access quick phone support, while limiting your exposure on a not to exceed basis to $140.00. Use up the two hours, which we’ll “clock” in increments as low as 15 minutes, and we check back in to see if you need / want another two hours added to your open ticket. Ravenhurst can also arrange full service maintenance agreements for the Avaya systems supported. And we have more limited support of the legacy Nortel & Comdial systems.
